This became a yearly tradition: going to Rock Werchter, and making a custom screen-printed t-shirt to hand out to friends who were also going. Each year a new design, a new screen, and a fresh run of shirts printed at home. The 2019 edition shown here features a bold Muse design in red — the screen still loaded with ink in the photo, sitting next to the finished result.``
Screen printing looks complicated but once you've gone through the coating, exposing, and washing process a couple of times it becomes second nature. There's something really satisfying about handing someone a shirt you printed yourself and seeing them wear it at a festival.
