Homebrewing

What started as a small HEMA kit grew into a full homebrew setup — glass carboys, custom-labeled Bosbier, and batches of ale running side by side.

A few years back, a small homebrewing kit from the HEMA — a Dutch household store — was the starting point. First came cautious little bottles of beer, then bigger batches, then proper fermentation setups with glass carboys running side by side: an American Pale Ale here, a Bels Blond there. The Bosbier ("Forest Beer") was the pride of the operation — bottled up with a bold custom label and photographed outside like it deserved to be.

The hobby has been put on pause for now, but the door is open. There's something deeply satisfying about watching an airlock bubble and knowing that something drinkable is slowly happening inside that jar. It got out of hand in the best way, and it might just do so again.
