Not an original design — this is a build based on someone else's project that looked like a fun thing to try. And mechanically, it works: a feeder, a bending head, a straightener roller, all driven by stepper motors and printed in orange and black. The machine itself came together fine. The specialized software needed to actually program bend sequences is another story — never quite got around to configuring that part correctly.
So it sits on the desk, functional in principle, waiting for the day the software gets sorted. A classic maker situation: the hardware is done, the project is 80% there, and somehow that last 20% keeps getting bumped down the list. Still, it's a handsome machine.
